Last blog, we talked about reversible and irreversible changes in materials. Today, we talk about the Chemical and Physical changes in materials.

So first, lets check out Chemical change. Well, Chemical change in a material in the state of when two substances are altered together to form a new substance. Chemical change, in simple terms, is when a material is formed due to the chemical reactions materials. Chemical changes are always irreversible, which means that the original substance can never be obtained back. For example; when vinegar mixes with baking soda, bubbles are formed and a new substance is made

Another type of change is known as Physical Change. Physical change in a material can be defined as a change in a material in which a substance changes in its Physical state. It is a substance two substane are mixed, but they do not form a new material. The things that change may be its colour, size or shape, but don't chemically react, as in chemical change.Physical change may be reversible or reversible such as melting chocolate, which is reversible, or shredding paper, which is reversible and cammot be put back to form the same old paper it was before.
